Stars: Edward Bosco, Brook Chalmers, Jake Foushee
Ever since Netflix announced the Transformers: War For Cybertron trilogy, there has been speculation about the third installment. Today, that installment received an official title, and it’s one that may have ties to a popular Transformers series.
Netflix revealed that the third installment of the show would be titled Kingdom. The title was revealed in letters of the Cybertronian alphabet, alongside images of other Transformers characters. Netflix encouraged viewers to “go ape and get your claws out,” using emojis for a gorilla and velociraptor. It is possible, based on said emojis, Kingdom may be pulling elements from Beast Wars.
There is speculation among fans that the font used in the current title card for Kingdom confirms the validity of an unused poster by Hasbro, featuring Beast Wars and Transformers characters.
Released in 1996, Beast Wars focused on the clash between the Maximals and Predacons, who could transform from animals to robots and vice versa. The series was one of the first Transformers cartoon to use computer animation and has been praised for its character development and engaging story.
Developed by Rooster Teeth Studios, Transformers: War for Cybertron – Siege features the voice talents of Jake Foushee as Optimus Prime, Jason Marnocha as Megatron, Linsay Rousseau as Elita-1, Joe Zieja as Bumblebee, Frank Todaro as Starscream, Rafael Goldstein as Ratchet, Keith Silverstein as Jetfire, Todd Haberkorn as Shockwave & Red Alert , Edward Bosco as Ultra Magnus & Soundwave, Bill Rogers as Wheeljack, Sophia Isabella as Arcee, Brook Chalmers as Impactor, Shawn Hawkins as Mirage, Kaiser Johnson as Ironhide, Miles Luna as Teletraan I & Cliffjumper and Mark Whitten as Sideswipe & Skywarp.
