Review: I’m not used to review titles. But I guess, I have too. I’m not going to write a summary of the show since you can read it above but for sure, it’s a supernatural comedy and drama show. Why comedy, because aside of the jokes, the first episodes don’t look as it takes itself seriously (stole that from another review and I think it’s the best way to describe it). Per example, talking out loud of secret societies on the campus. Well !! But I don’t think it’s bad, it’s humoristic. I think the actors play are good related to their character age. It’s a teenage shows most of it with teenage problems and decisions. I personally love the relation between Alyssa and Jake since they show true love in their behavior and it made me believe it.
The story itself misses background knowledge but what can you expect from a ten episodes show. I am pretty sure they are going to look into it in a second season if there is. I think there’s a lot of potential since we don’t know much about the main characters and their lifestory.
We need to know more about the order itself and the ” order ” of the knights of Saint-Alexander for sure. You don’t learn too much especially about the werewolves but I guess the characters don’t know much more either. I see potential since I see kids becoming adults with responsibitlies.
I don’t like drama usually in Tv Shows, but here the drama and the action/magic is well proportioned and made me want to watch the next episode until the end. If it stays like that for the second season, then I’ll enjoy it for sure.
Andddd the finale… What to say… I think this was the best ending they could’ve make for this show … The emotion created by the ending is perhaps the reason why I want to watch the second season if there is. (They don’t have a choice here). We are used to have good beautiful endings where some main characters die but the good side always win. Now it’s kind of different.
Why 8/10 ? Because you have to watch it as it is and not compare it to other Tv shows in the same matter. It’s only 10 episodes of 40 minutes. If you don’t expect too much, you’ll enjoy it.
