Review: Religion is an issue among all of humanity. Religion is an opinion of individuals which is used as a tool to manipulate others. It happens at all levels of society. The poor, the middle class, the wealthy, the politicians, royalty, in all countries.
The Family is a good documentary exposing The Family/The Fellowship/C Street/The International Foundation.
They are a group of people seeking power, for their god, through politics. They believe that they can use their influence to push through legislation that promotes their religion. The hide criminals, provided that those people do their bidding. They are a cult.
This documentary exposes all of this and more, through extensive research and exposure through public records. The cult has infiltrated deep in to the government of the United States and across the world with other public figures. They attempt to stay hidden and secretive but because of time and mistakes, their shadow organization has been exposed to the sunlight.
The documentary shows they do not care about democracy and any one who gets in their way, they will shut them down and use every means to crush or silence their naysayers. Case in point, several times leaders who have had affairs were exposed in the public eye, but then The Family swoops in and does damage control, eventually saving their political careers or moving them to a field of lobbying.
Their National Prayer Breakfast is a primary staging area for their politics and has included a vast number of lobbyists from pharmaceuticals to gun manufacturers, including influence from Russia.
The documentary is very complete and isn’t afraid to shine a light on the corruption of this organization. They have used their influence to not pay taxes, to bribe politicians with favors or monetary means, or by giving them jobs.
It’s very sick and another example of why religion is a lie of mankind.
