School of Chocolate Review 2021 Tv Show Series Season Cast Crew
Netflix has dropped the trailer for the first season of a new show that will certainly leave your mouth watering. School of Chocolate is a confectionary-focused reality competition series that will begin airing this month.
This upcoming baking show is hosted by Amaury Guichon, a famous chocolatier who has been in the pastry industry for 17 years and has founded his own Pastry Academy. Guichon will be mentoring eight cooking professionals in creating sophisticated pieces of edible sweet artworks. One of these eight students, who prove themselves to be the best in class, will earn the opportunity of receiving prize money of $100.000.
“As much as you’d wanna say it’s not a competition, it’s a competition,” says one of the participants in the trailer. But in spite of this, in the trailer all competitors seem to be in good spirits and interacting with each other, all the while we see some of the spectacular delicious-looking creations they will get to make.
Each of the eight 45-minute long episodes will consist of solo activities which will challenge the participants’ technical skills, but there will also be cooperation-focused group challenges. For example, the first episode includes an individual challenge wherein the chefs must make a pastry using a mold they have made themselves, and afterward there will be a collective challenge in which they have to create a giant chocolate showpiece. In addition, each episode includes a practical demonstration by Guichon and therefore, if you’re wanting to learn, it’s worth having a pencil and a notebook in hand in order to get this specialist’s tips on how to make the best sweets and pastries!
Executive producersfor the upcoming competition series include Adam Cohen, Cara Tapper, Joanna Vernetti, Jeanne Begley, and Andrea Richter.
School of Chocolate will be available for streaming on Netflix on November 26. Watch the trailer below:
