Review: The next series from the series USA Network Suits will be named Pearson, after its main character.UCP’s long untitled project, Suits creator and executive producer Aaron Korsh and executive producer Daniel Arkin, focuses on powerful attorney Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) as she adapts to the dirty world of Chicago politics.
Co-starring alongside Torres are Simon Kassianides, Morgan Spector, Bethany Joy Lenz, Chantel Riley, Isabel Arraiza and Eli Goree. The split was introduced at the end of season 7 of Suits, which served as a backdoor pilot.
Doug Liman, David Bartis and Gene Klein of Hypnotic and Torres are also executive producers. Arkin serves as showrunner in the series, which will be released this year. The executive of Kevin Bray produces and directed the pilot.
Fans of the suits were dismayed in season 6 when Gina Torres left the series after spending years as one of the most formidable forces of the law firm, with “Pearson” in the name despite many other changes in the name of the partner. Well, the good news is that Torres is returning to the US UU As the protagonist of his own series, appropriately titled Pearson.
The split of Suits centered on Jessica Pearson finally released her first trailer, and shows the protagonist as fierce and ready to fight legally.
As the Suit fans will remember, Jessica left the parents’ program after being expelled and finally lost her name from the company’s title. The former Powerhouse lawyer went to change the scene and moved to Chicago. However, he did not move to Windy City for a quiet retirement life and will find himself immersed in the dirty politics of Chicago. She is on board as the right hand and the “repairman” of Mayor Bobby Novak, and the trailer makes it clear that she will not be able to do her job and keep her hands clean.
When did the possibility of messing her up by hand keep Jessica from doing something if it’s really important? However, the dangers of his role in the Chicago government are certainly different from those he faced as a lawyer in New York. Life and extremities could be threatened, as well as those of people who matter to you.
Release Jessica’s need to get to the top whenever she takes part in a fight, legal or extravagant, and can be found in hot water on a regular basis at Pearson. She will still feel the urge to always do the right thing and help Chicago, so it should be interesting to see what kind of balance Jessica has in her new role. Can she help promote her boss’s cause and do the right thing? Will you choose the route that will allow you to go up no matter what, or your principles will guide your direction?
