If you are skeptical about this being a forced cash grab reunion, let me out your worries to rest.

The moment this documentary began, I heard those first few notes of the magical soundtrack, saw some familiar faces and could instantly feel a smile stretching across my face and a warm feeling engulfing my heart.

While it’s obvious that this documentary is a grand reunion between the actors, it is also a behind the scenes look into the wizarding world and how it was created. Combining moments from the movies, production footage and actor interviews, the documentary invites you to board the Hogwarts Express and journey through the filming process of the 8 films.

Beginning with the initial castings and ending on an emotional last day of filming, every aspect is presented with care, sincerity and passion. The directors explain their vision and the filming process itself, while the actors share their stories of how they brought the characters to life and how much it meant for them to be a part of this world.

It’s hard to find the words to describe the plethora of emotions that overwhelmed me as I watched the characters that have formed a monumental element of my childhood. Sadly, not everyone could be a part of this documentary as many actors have passed away and seeing the tribute to each one of them resulted in a special kind of sadness. By the end, not only did I want want to re-watch the films but I also wanted to re-read the books because nothing will ever feel as pleasantly nostalgic as Harry Potter.
