Clickbait Review 2021 Tv Show Series Season Cast Crew
The plot is very good and logical with layers of small twists which makes the series bingeworthy but having said that the episodes toggle between boring to melodramatic to exciting making it just a normal TV show.
Acting is ok but when melodrama is considered you need the characters to be either lovable or strikingly interesting which is not present in the show.
Another thing that is both good and bad is the episode breakdown based on the characters and how that characters add to the pace of the show. This is the good part. The bad part is that since it is a limited series episode then investing 40 minutes on character and showing a glimpse of their life becomes unnecessary and forgetful Overall the film will leave you with mixed feeling but it’s worth a watch.
I was gripped from the first episode. Quite a captivating show from start to finish. The acting is very good and the situation feels all to real. This could easily happen in reality and sometimes you feel you’re watching a doco. I was also taken by surprise by the plot twist in the last episode. I thought I had it figured out. It shows the real dangers of cat fishing, there will be a few gullible people who believe in everything they read and see online without reality to guide them. Online behavior can have some scary consequences.
Some nagging issues I found was the inability to track the website source. Surely in the 21st century a cybercrime unit would be able to do this. Also when Emma Beadsley came for a police interview I found it odd that the photos were never taken from her as tangible evidence. The metadata was obtained by a young teenager. Also when Nick escapes, he somehow in his state manages to know the address of his colleague? I may know roughly where colleagues live but not be able to find their exact address in pitch dark. Also why didn’t he go straight to his family or ask to call the cops? All these were plot conveniences and if you can get over this then it makes for a thrilling ride.
