Another Cindy Busby and Christopher Russell movie. Only a year later. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like Cindy Busby in and outside of Hallmark, and I’ve grown to tolerate Christopher Russell. However, this casting shows pure laziness on Hallmark‘s part. I like seeing actors with good chemistry every few years for a movie, but in the meantime, diversify your cast! The attempt at more diverse casting during Christmastime seems like nothing than a publicity stunt right about now. White privilege and lack of diversity don’t take vacations, so neither should the fight for more inclusive casting in television.
