My love for time-traveling romances began with Time After Time starring Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen. Books and films like Jude Deveraux‘s Knight in Shining Armor and Hallmark Hall of Fame’s The Love Letter only solidified my love of time travel romance. You can imagine my excitement when I saw A Timeless Christmas on the Hallmark Channel schedule.

What is Hallmark’s A Timeless Christmas about?
A Timeless Christmas follows the story of Charles Whitley (Ryan Paevey), a turn of the century inventor who purchases a Christmas clock at auction for a gift. As he tinkers with it, the clocks sets him on a time travel journey to the year 2020 where he meets Megan Turner (Erin Cahill), a docent at a historic mansion in Cutter Springs.

As Megan explains in her tour, the mansion was once owned by Charles Whitley, an inventor from the early 1900s. When a man, who looks and dresses exactly like Whitley crashes one of her tours, Turner assumes he’s an actor hired to play the part. After he proves to her that he is somehow the Charles Whitley, Megan attempts to help him find his way back to 1903, but as the two work together, they each find they would rather leave the past in the past and look forward to a future—together.

Erin Cahill plays Megan Turner, a tour guide at a historic mansion owned in the early 1900s by Charles Whitley, an inventor who mysteriously disappears in 1903.

Where you’ve seen her before: Cahill, who is married to Welsh musician Paul Freeman, was the Pink Power Ranger in the Power Ranger Time Force series and the first female lead character in the Call of Duty video game franchise.

Cahill can also be seen in Hallmark Channel movies, The Secret Ingredient and Love, Fall and Order.

Yes! Written by award-winning Alexis Stanton, A Timeless Christmas is one of the many e-book offerings from Crown Media’s publishing arm, Hallmark Publishing. It’s the second book from the publisher that has been turned into a movie.
